Upcoming Guild Projects
November's project presented by Linda Baca and Jean Roth is the fabric-wrap bowls pictured below. A supply list appears below the photo.

Supplies/material for fabric-wrap bowls:
- A couple of long pins (I use flower-head pins)
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- 80 or 90 universal or sharp needle (I tried a needle that wasn't one of the two specified and it only took a few stitches before it broke)
- Clothesline (I used Secure Line synthetic clothesline 50' x 3/16" from WalMart, but there is also a cotton material at Ace Hardware)
- Fabric cut into 3/4" strips, no shorter than 6" in length, it doesn't need to be cut on the bias (I would say around 1/2 yard to start with at the most)
- Thread to match your fabric (for beginners it's best for your thread to blend and not stand out)
- Sewing machine with applique', zigzag foot, or
quilting foot (you want to be able to see where you're going without an obstructed view)
