SUMMARY:Racing Fingers Quilt Guild General Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The meeting starts at 6:15 tonight to allow room for this amazing program! \nPatricia Hellenbrand is a teacher\, quilter\, creator\, and pattern writer. She is coming to us from Lodi\, Wisconsin\, which is along the beautiful Wisconsin River Valley. We are excited to have her back (after over 3 years) for a lecture and a workshop. The workshop will be Tuesday morning\, Nov 10. Click here for more info! \nIn 2006\, she started writing quilt patterns under the name Creek Side Stitches\, which is a pattern company dedicated to promoting the art of quilting. Many of the patterns use precuts such as Layer Cakes\, Charm squares\, and Mini Charm squares. \nPatti has been quilting for more than 35 years; she took her first quilting class through the local Technical College back in the 70s. She put quilting on the back burner to raise 3 beautiful daughters but kept up with sewing by making clothes and items for local craft shows.  In the late 1990s\, she got back into quilting and has not stopped since. \nTonight we will judge and reveal the 2026 RFQG Annual Challenge for the 250th Anniversary of America Quilts of Valor (QOV). Take a look at this year’s entries and vote on your favorite so that the top two winners will take home a $25 gift certificate to a local quilt store! \n  \n
