SUMMARY:2026 Mystery Quilt
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 2026 Mystery Quilt\, co-taught by Cindy Sanders and Julie Swenson. This fun and engaging project is suitable for quilters of all skill levels\, from beginners to experienced stitchers. The mystery quilt features only straight-seam construction—no curves\, paper piecing\, or half-square triangles. \nParticipants should bring their sewing machine\, standard sewing supplies\, and fabrics of their choice. The guild will provide irons and cutting mats. \nYardage requirements and size options will be released in mid-summer\, with pre-cutting instructions available in early September. Assembly instructions will be provided on the day of class—after all\, it wouldn’t be a mystery otherwise! \n\nClick here for yardage requirements \nClick here for yardage and cutting instructions! \n\nRegistration is required—only 20 spots available. SUMMARY:Have Your Cake and Make It Too!
DESCRIPTION:Patricia Hellenbrand is a teacher\, quilter\, creator\, and pattern writer. She is coming to us from Lodi\, Wisconsin\, which is along the beautiful Wisconsin River Valley. We are excited to have her back (after over 3 years) for a lecture and a workshop. The cost is $20 and includes the pattern and class fee. Click here to register! \nWorkshop Supply List \nWorkshop Prep Instructions \nIn 2006\, she started writing quilt patterns under the name Creek Side Stitches\, which is a pattern company dedicated to promoting the art of quilting. Many of the patterns use precuts such as Layer Cakes\, Charm squares\, and Mini Charm squares. \nPatti has been quilting for more than 35 years; she took her first quilting class through the local Technical College back in the 70s. She put quilting on the back burner to raise 3 beautiful daughters but kept up with sewing by making clothes and items for local craft shows. In the late 1990s\, she got back into quilting and has not stopped since.
