SUMMARY:Foster Sew
DESCRIPTION:Join us in stitching comfort and hope for children in foster care. Whether you can sew\, organize materials\, or simply lend a helping hand\, your time and talents can make a lasting impact. Come be part of a caring community where every stitch helps wrap a child in warmth and love. \nThe Foster Sew Program is a heartfelt community initiative that brings volunteers together to create beautiful\, comforting quilts for children in foster care using donated materials and shared compassion. Each quilt is a tangible reminder to a child that they are seen\, valued\, and cared for. \nVolunteers play an important role in transforming donated quilt tops into finished pieces ready for donation. Opportunities to help include piecing quilt tops\, attaching backings\, layering batting\, and assisting with general quilt assembly. Basic sewing or quilting skills are helpful but not required — there are meaningful ways for everyone to contribute\, whether you’re experienced or brand new to sewing. \nWith no fixed deadlines\, the Foster Sew Program offers a flexible\, welcoming\, and low-stress environment where volunteers of all skill levels can connect\, create\, and make a difference together.
