A hive which has actually been in existence since last year is our group of women who get together weekly to make quilts for children aging out of the foster are system. Lighthouse Church has been very gracious and has set aside one of their unused classrooms as a sewing center. Machines are already in place. Our members cut fabrics and sort them so they can be easily arranged into several patterns to make these lovely quilts which are given as a comfort to those teens who are on their own now. Join us! All levels and types of skills are needed, from cutting to binding and everything in between.
The church is located at 1305 W Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach, FL
